The guy who has pitched the Texas Rangers to their biggest wins of the season did so again Sunday against Blue Jays, and the bats that were supposed to deliver all season finally did so in the same game. Nathan Eovaldi tossed seven strong innings, and Marcus Semien, Corey Seager, Wyatt Langford and Evan Carter all homered in a 10-4 victory that prevented the Blue Jays from sweeping the three-game weekend series in Canada. Semien homered the day after sitting out because of a swollen left wrist, giving him a second homer in the series. The Rangers then packed their bags for Kansas City for a critical four-game series at Kansas City. The Royals are one of the two teams ahead of the Rangers in the wild-card standings.
