Kirby Yates, Carlos Estevez and Tommy Kanhle all found deals this week, and none of them signed with the Texas Rangers. With less than two weeks until spring training begins for pitchers and catchers, it appears more and more likely that the Rangers won’t add a closer. They have made five additions to the bullpen this offseason, and Arlington native Chris Martin will enter camp as the front-runner to close games during the 2025 regular season. John Rhadigan and I also talk about the short-lived Max Scherzer era after he agreed to a one-year deal with the Blue Jays.
