The Texas Rangers have acquired five relievers this offseason, with Chris Martin the latest earlier this week. His signing might be the last the Rangers make before heading to spring training, general manager Ross Fenstermaker said. The Rangers will listen if the right deal comes along, and the DLLS Rangers Podcast crew believes they will add a closer. It won’t be Max Scherzer, who doesn’t seem durable enough to do the job. And the closer won’t be throwing to Sam Huff, who was claimed Wednesday by the Giants.
