DLLS Texas Rangers Podcast: Talking Rangers, Do It For Durrett with Jon Daniels, Anthony Andro

The Texas Rangers are in the midst of an important stretch, having just won a three-game series over the Astros and with the Brewers coming to town before a road trip to face the Mets and Astros. Sheesh. Somehow, in part due to some unexpected contributors, the Rangers remain in the playoff picture. It’s also a big week locally for the Do It For Durrett Foundation, which holds its annual fundraiser Friday at Grapevine Golf Course and Texas Live!. Among those on the DIFD board are former Rangers president of baseball operations Jon Daniels and former Rangers beat writer Anthony Andro. They were in-studio Monday to discuss Do It For Durrett and also, with Daniels now working as a special assistant for the Rays, the American League playoff picture. Daniels also has insight into one of the unexpected Rangers contributors, Cody Freeman, who was drafted under Daniels’ watch in 2019.
