The Texas Rangers tied the club mark Monday for consecutive extra-innings game at four. Like two of the previous three, they came up short. This time, the Orioles beat the Rangers, 10-6, in 12 innings, and the loss was marked by more missed opportunities by the offense. Jonah Heim had the glaring miss in the eighth, striking out with a runner at third and only one out, after the Rangers rallied from a 3-0 deficit. Alejandro Osuna did the same thing in the ninth, and the Rangers’ exhausted bullpen couldn’t told the 6-6 tie in the 11th after Adolis Garcia seemed to rescue the Rangers with a three-run shot in the 10th. Oh, and Jack Leiter had to bat in the 11th.
