DLLS Texas Rangers Podcast: Hall of Fame alert! Fergie Jenkins visits the studio

The Texas Rangers don’t have a Cy Young winner in their history, but they should. Fergie Jenkins is still miffed about the 1974 vote in which he finished second in the balloting behind Catfish Hunter despite beating Hunter head-to-head and going 5-0 against the A’s. Jenkins also won a Rangers-record 25 games. A member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Jenkins is 82 now and will be one of many former Rangers at the Rangers Fantasy Camp on Jan. 7-11, 2026, in Surprise, Ariz. Waveland Events is putting the camp together for anyone age 30 and older, and their Tony Cahn shared the details.
