DLLS Texas Rangers Podcast: Astros rivalry renews with clubs headed in different directions

The Texas Rangers are playing host this weekend to the Houston Astros, who have won the American League West for eight of the past seasons. They are bidding for another West crown in 2025, but some of the faces of changed. Gone are Alex Bregman and Kyle Tucker, and Jose Altuve has moved from second base to left field. The Rangers, meanwhile, added some fire to the rivalry in 2023 by winning the ALCS over the Astros and then winning the World Series. Jacob deGrom will pitch for the Rangers in a pitchers’ duel against Hunter Brown. The last time deGrom pitched, he struck out 10 and allowed two runs at Detroit.
