The Texas Rangers played their 13th one-run game of the season Monday and won it 2-1 despite being no-hit through five innings. Wyatt Langford hit a two-run homer, Tyler Mahle pitched well again, but the Rangers saw closer Luke Jackson leave with an injury and Corey Seager (hamstring) and Josh Smith (back) sit out. The game represented a step back offensively after two good games in Detroit to end the road trip. The game also featured the return of Jake Burger, the first baseman who was sent to Triple A Round Rock for a “reset” after a tough opening month.
