Texas Rangers ace Jacob deGrom was thrilled Wednesday with the way he felt after his second Cactus League start of spring training, but the rest was open for debate. Don’t worry. He’ll be just fine when the regular season rolls around next week. He’s likely to start the fourth game of the season, March 30 vs. the Red Sox. The right-hander will throw a bullpen session before the Rangers leave Arizona and then pitch Tuesday in an afternoon exhibition vs. the Royals. He’s not the only player fine-tuning as the games tick away. Corey Seager homered Wednesday and has walked nine times this spring. Kumar Rocker is starting Thursday night, an outing that could determine where he opens the regular season.
