The Texas Rangers struck around dinnertime Tuesday night with a three-year agreement with Nathan Eovaldi. At bedtime, news broke that they had traded for Marlins slugger Jake Burger to cap a busy second day of the winter meetings in Dallas. The addition of Burger adds a power bat to the lineup and could be a precursor to a trade involving first baseman Nathaniel Lowe. The Rangers made more news on the final day of the meetings by signing reliever Jacob Webb.
