Just when you think the Texas Rangers can’t do any worse at the plate, they find a different way to sink even lower. On Sunday, Seattle Mariners right-hander George Kirby and two relievers faced the minimum 27 batters in a 7-0 victory that dropped the Rangers to a third straight road loss. Ezequiel Duran had the lone Rangers hit at T-Mobile Park, and he was quickly erased as Carson Kelly bounced into a double play. The goose egg probably wasn’t a surprise to Andrew Heaney, who has had some of the worst run support in the league. The Rangers were also displeased with the antics of Randy Arozarena after his seventh-inning homer. The Rangers are off Monday, and so is the DLLS Rangers crew.
