DLLS Texas Rangers Podcast: Nathan Eovaldi prognosis after surprise sports-hernia surgery

The Texas Rangers mentioned nothing of Nathan Eovaldi having sports hernia during the season, mentioning it for the first time last week during the season-ending press conference. Well, Eovaldi had a sports hernia and underwent surgery Wednesday to repair it. The good news is that he should be at full strength for the start of spring training. He will have a new manager, Skip Schumaker, who will be introduced by the Rangers on Friday morning. The coaching staff and the offense are sure to be the top questions sent his way. What does a manager do these days anyway? Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter had some interesting comments on that Wednesday night.
