Another one-run loss for the Texas Rangers on Monday and another game with one run. It’s the same story from their offense, and the season has been incredibly frustrating because of it. It’s not just the fans who are frustrated. President of baseball operations Chris Young is frustrated with the offense and the false report about Kumar Rocker moving to closer. Fixing the offense is Young’s priority, but Marcus Semien and Adolis Garcia are going to continue to play despite their struggles because they are premium defenders. Jacob deGrom was the losing pitcher Monday despite allowing only two runs. He said he does not have a blister on his middle finger, despite showing signs that he might. It called the area a hot spot. He’s in line to start Sunday in the homestand finale.
