The Texas Rangers will be riding a three-game winning streak as they come home for their longest homestand of the season.
God bless the Chicago White Sox, on pace to finish as the worst team in modern MLB history and the perfect foe for the Texas Rangers to face in their effort to finish the season on a high note.
The Rangers won all three games, albeit by narrow margins, including 2-1 in the Wednesday finale. Corey Seager connected for his 200th career homer, and Nathan Eovaldi tossed seven one-hit innings while striking out 10.
Up next: a 10-game homestand against the A’s, Yankees and Angels. Robbie Grossman and Travis Jankowski may or may not be around to finish the season.
