The Texas Rangers created a hole at second base on Nov. 23, trading Gold Glove winner Marcus Semien to the Mets for Brandon Nimmo. The Rangers opted to use internal candidates to fill Semien’s shoes, and five players will be vying for a chance at second base in the lone position battle of spring training.
