First, pitching coach Mike Maddux accepted a position with the Angels. Now, third-base coach Tony Beasley has informed the Texas Rangers that he won’t be returning in 2026 after a lack of communication from new manager Skip Schumaker, and interim hitting coach Bret Boone is also out. Beasley first came to the Rangers in 2015 with another new manager, Jeff Banister, and has been a fixture in the third-base box since. He successfully fought cancer during his 11 seasons and was beloved by players, fans and media. With the World Series over, the Rangers should be announcing the coaching staff in the coming days.
