The Texas Rangers have won six straight, went 8-1 on the second-half-opening homestand and suddenly find themselves tied for the third wild-card entry into the American League portion of the MLB postseason. The Rangers headed for the West Coast on Sunday night with positive momentum in the overhead bins and with bullpen help likely on the way this week at the trade deadline. And who better to kick off the road trip than Jacob deGrom? The Rangers are in a good spot, but they can’t take their feet off the gas over the final two months of the season.
