DirecTV, AT&T, Spectrum and Apple TV are the biggest companies that have agreed to carry Texas Rangers games in 2025. Channel 33 will be the over-the-air partner for select games.
Texas Rangers fans have been waiting all offseason for the news that dropped late Tuesday afternoon. No, the Rangers didn’t sign a closer.
The club released its TV distributors for 2025, a roster that gives viewers across the Rangers’ five-state viewing territory multiple options via traditional/linear means and digitally. Fans locally will also have an over-the-air (free) option for select Friday games.
DirecTV, Spectrum cable and AT&T U-Verse will carry the new Rangers Sports Network, giving fans multiple traditional/linear options. Apple TV is among the nine digital devices where Victory+, the Rangers’ streaming partner, will be available.
Fans can purchase a season pass through Victory+ for $100.
The Rangers continue to work to add distributors. At the top of the list are Hulu and Fubo, which are expected to merge in 2025. YouTube TV is less likely to be an option as its model nationally has moved away from carrying regional sports.
The Rangers are also giving fans an over-the-air option on KDAF/Channel 33, which will carry the Friday contests. These games will be similar to what the Dallas Mavericks are doing with their broadcasts on KFAA/Channel 29.
