DLLS Texas Rangers Podcast: Tyler Mahle looks to carry his weight in second start of season

The Texas Rangers were off Thursday, and so were John Rhadigan and I. But they’re back in action Friday and so were we. The topic: Can Tyler Mahle keep the rotation’s hot streak going after strong starts by Nathan Eovaldi and Jack Leiter to close out a series win at Cincinnati? Mahle matched the shortest start of his career (1 2/3 innings) in his 2025 debut. The offense remains stuck, primarily because Marcus Semien and Corey Seager haven’t gotten going yet. The sooner the better, fellas. Also, the Double A, High A and Low A clubs start their seasons Friday. Top prospect Sebastian Walcott is opening at Double A Frisco, and there’s no need to rush him to the big leagues.
