The Texas Rangers now have two coaching vacancies to fill after associate manager Will Venable has reportedly accepted the White Sox’s offer to become their next manager. The Rangers already needed to hire a hitting coach after Tim Hyers left last week for the same job with the Braves. If Venable is permitted to take one coach with him, the Rangers could really have their hands full. The Dodgers might have their hands full after the Yankees, despite two knuckleheaded fans, won Game 5 of the World Series to avoid a sweep and give ace Gerrit Cole a chance to force the series back to Los Angeles.
