Texas WR Isaiah Bond has filed a federal defamation lawsuit against a sexual assault accusation made against him.

Bond turned himself in to Frisco police last Thursday morning on a sexual assault warrant allegation dating back to February.

He issued a statement denying the allegations.

On Wednesday, filed a lawsuit in federal court in the Northern District of Texas.

Per the suit, “This action arises out of the malicious, false allegations and coercion attempt lodged against Plaintiff Isaiah Bond, a rising football star and prospective early round selection in the upcoming National Football Leage (“NFL”) Draft, in connection with a malicious and false smear campaign in which the Defendant has sought to derail Plaintiff’s future career prospects.”

Bond alleges that Roe initially was not upset with her encounter, but rather stated that “she was upset with the lack of affection she received from Bond immediately following the encounter.”

Per the suit, Jane Roe’s communications gave the indication she sought financial gain — in the form of child support or a relationship, which is, unfortunately.

“When Jane Roe’s Plan A failed, however, she quickly moved to execute her Plan B: Revenge,” per the lawsuit.

The suit states that Roe and Bond spent time together at Bond’s apartment after the consensual encounter, and Jane Roe never mentioned an alleged assault.

“However, Jane Roe did make the indirect threat that, due to Bond’s high-profile status, Bond “better be careful not to catch a case,” the suit said.

“Notwithstanding her malicious and false allegations, Jane Roe waited days to go to the hospital for an exam following the encounter—more than enough time to calculate and commence her smear campaign.”

His representatives have also given full access to all NFL teams unedited communications between Bond and his female accuser.

A source said these messages tell a very different story than what’s included in the arrest affidavit.

An affidavit obtained by WFAA on last Friday, allege that Bond admitted guilt in a text with his accuser and acknowledged that alcohol played a role in his behavior.

According to the affidavit, the two eventually met on Feb. 4 and began a consensual sexual encounter after drinking wine. Bond allegedly brought up a sex act they’d previously discussed in their text exchanges and the woman said was not comfortable with trying it, per the affidavit.

The accuser said Bond began engaging in that act anyway and asked that him stop. She said she tried pushing him away from her, while telling him she was in pain. Bond allegedly while using his body weight against her and covering her mouth.

The affidavit says, Bond told the woman, “alcohol makes me do things” and asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). She refused.

The woman texted Bond, saying, “Isaiah you were wrong for that I asked you to stop and you kept covering my mouth. I’m in a lot of pain.”

Bond allegedly responded, “You want a 1000 I’m really sorry!” and “Would that make it feel better.”

She responded “What? 5k,” and then “1k? Like you asked me to sign then you offer me money? So you know what you did that’s why you covered my mouth.”

Text messages between the two were obtained by DLLS Cowboys. And his agent Damien Butler, who was at the apartment conducting pre-draft meetings during some of the time the woman was there but before Bond went into the bedroom, said her account of what what actually happened was false.

Per Butler, Bond never admitted guilt with an apology and he wasn’t intoxicated. He said he only had a sip of wine. Based on the timeline of the text messages, the entire encounter lasted less than 60 minutes, probably closer to 30.

According Bond, via his agent, “she never said stop, she said go slower. Then she said ‘you can do it but go slower’.”

The interaction concluded shortly thereafter.

Bond told Butler he only brought the NDA after she mentioned something about athletes “catching cases.”

Butler said he advises all of his clients to have visitors sign a NDA before they they enter the apartment. Bond didn’t do it until the end.

And text messages confirm, as was indicated in the affidavit, it was the woman who countered a possible payment of $5,000 after he brought up $1,000.

Bond bonded out of jail last week and has continued to prepare for the upcoming NFL draft. He was slated to be a first or second day pick.

Bond met with 13 teams at the NFL Scouting Combine last month, including the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars. He had  top-30 visits scheduled with the Browns, Packers and Bills, who he also had a private dinner with after his Pro Day in Austin.

“Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, patently false,” Bond said in a statement. “I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation.”
